DAVID DELEE
David DeLee is the author of the Grace deHaviland Bounty Hunter series, including the novels Fatal Destiny (2011), Pin Money (2013) and With Intent to Deceive (2014). David’s also written many short stories featuring Grace, most notably Bling, Bling, which appeared in the anthology The Rich and the Dead (2011) edited by Nelson DeMille, and Fatal Tryst (2011), an audio version of which is available for free from Crime City Central http://crimecitycentral.com/crime-city-central-no-49-david-delee/
David’s other work includes the novel Crystal White (2012) which SUSPENSE MAGAZINE called “…a dark portrayal of the evil that men–and women–can do.”, the second Nick Lafferty thriller Out of the Game (2014) and a collection of short stories called Murder, Mayhem & Mystery: An Omnibus of Crime Fiction (2013).
David is a member of the Mystery Writers of America and International Thriller Writers. He holds a Master’s Degree in Criminal Justice and is a former licensed private investigator. A native New Yorker, David currently resides in New Hampshire.

AND A BIT ABOUT Grace deHaviland & Suzie Jensen
Grace deHaviland is a bounty hunter operating out of Columbus, Ohio. Grace’s father, Brian, abandoned her and her mother when Grace was seven years old. An only child, raised by a single parent and of mixed race — she is Irish and Hispanic — Grace grew up angry, rebellious and wild. When Grace was eighteen, her mother, Linnette Valencia Cortez deHaviland, was brutally raped and murdered. An event Grace feels responsible for.

In an attempt to change the direction of her life, when she was in her early twenties Grace joined the County Sheriff’s Department with her best friend, Suzie Jensen. Grace was fired from the department less than two years later. After leaving the department Grace apprenticed with a private investigator for awhile before turning to bounty hunting as a means of earning a living.

She lives in a top floor loft of an old typewriter factory, willed to her by her father after he was declared legally dead, and has converted large sections of the building into an office, a workout area — complete with an Olympic-size pool — and a rooftop sanctuary for her rescue pet; a Capuchin monkey named Trouble.

Suzie Jensen is a sheriff’s deputy working in Columbus, Ohio. An only child, Suzie was raised by an alcoholic mother and an angry, bigoted father. Suzie met Grace deHaviland in high school and the two became close friends even though the two couldn’t have been more different. Grace has dark-skinned — Irish-Latina — is reserved with few friends, and has a knack for getting into trouble. Suzie has blond haired, blue eyes and is as happy-go-lucky as one could be — at least as far as anyone could tell.

Suzie and Grace joined the sheriff’s department together and though Grace only lasted two years, Suzie has stayed with them for over ten years and is currently assigned as a road supervisor. Her mother has passed away and though her father remains living in the house she grew up in, they are estranged and she seldom sees him.
